Congratulations Leighton!

Congratulations to Year 10 student Leighton, from the Year 10 Big Picture advisory, who has successfully secured a School-Based Apprenticeship with Tractor Pat Mechanical Repairs in the field of Diesel Mechanic/Agricultural Technician.

Leighton began his Big Picture education in Term 1, 2024, and has since demonstrated an outstanding commitment to pursuing his interests and passions. These include agriculture, dairy and beef cattle, motorbikes and of course, diesel engines.

Through the Learning Through Internship (LTI) program, Leighton has embraced every opportunity to build his skills and gain valuable industry experience. He has worked alongside mentors at Wright Machinery and Tractor Pat Mechanical Repairs, where he has consistently impressed with his enthusiasm, dedication and willingness to learn.

This apprenticeship is a significant achievement and reflects Leighton’s hard work, determination and clear sense of direction. We warmly congratulate him on this milestone and look forward to following his continued success in the field.
